Hotel Amber Port

Reservation 4 days/3 nights, Superior double room, full board - breakfast and dinner buffet, lunch served. Stay paid in advance. The hotel confirmed it, and the day before arrival they sent an e-mail assuring us that they were waiting for us. Upon arrival, the receptionist checked us in nicely and pleasantly. The hotel was as described (almost), but what happened to us on the third day of our stay completely unsettled us. On Saturday after On the 17th, the staff knocked on our door and informed us that we should eat dinner in the room and we were given a substitute meal, without any drink (a photo of dinner for two people is attached). I feel sorry for these young girls, they were embarrassed because in every other room they met with a similar reaction to ours, i.e. disbelief and indignation. There was a party in the restaurant, some kind of party, and we were second class, having a meal in the room, on our knees, served in plastic boxes. No information in advance, either during the booking process or upon arrival. A hotel that has 4 stars next to its name on the facade treats its guests this way? Upon our attention reported at the reception, they responded with an additional plate with a dried poultry roll. If someone likes to be treated like an unwanted guest, we recommend Amber Port, otherwise it is better to avoid this place. Something like this has never happened to us before. This weekend is spoiled, but there will be others, not necessarily in Darłowo.

I went with my wife for a 4-day stay, upon arrival at the reception we were greeted by a "Russian"-sounding, very unpleasant blonde woman. We had to wait 2 hours. because the room wasn't ready yet (mid-November). And so many bad things. However, we were very pleasantly surprised by the dinner, the food was very good, varied and in large quantities. The staff in the restaurant was very nice and helpful, especially Mrs. Iryna. We also recommend other attractions of the hotel: infrared sauna, steam sauna and brine graduation tower. We liked it very much, I gave it 5 stars but I would prefer to give it 8 ***** *** We will definitely come back here again.

We are remembering Christmas 2022. The choice turned out to be perfect. Delicate, minor flaws will not prevent us from having great memories. So the location is perfect, next to the boulevard for a walk, next to the bridge that folds and maybe 200 m to the beach. The staff was nice and helpful, taking care of the festive atmosphere, even though they were at work themselves. The cuisine is absolutely delicious, something for everyone, blue cheese for breakfast every day. The swimming pool is a bit small, but it's good that it's there at all. There are saunas and a salt cave. Playroom for children, this one could use a little refreshment. A warm, delicious soup in the middle of the day. Massage chairs in the corridor are included in the price and even a mini gym. Prices adequate for a holiday trip. What can be improved? As I said, the playroom needs to be refreshed. And it would be nice to be able to buy beer in a hotel bar outside the season or during the holidays. There is a well-equipped shop next to the hotel, but even they have to close someday. Because you can always buy wine at the reception. We would definitely like to come back someday.

Very good hotel location. Unfortunately, there is a woman working at the reception who should never have contact with customers. She is rude and extremely ignorant. The room was not cleaned thoroughly, only wiped quickly. Curtains and drapes dirty. Mushroom on the wall near the window. Very poor selection of food and it was extremely tasteless. For breakfast it's the same every day - pancakes, fried eggs in a strange sauce, scrambled eggs and casseroles made from leftovers...
